The Fort Wayne celebration, which provides a respite from the challenges all women face, is one of many global observances of International Women’s Day in such diverse locations as Canada, China, India, Kenya, Lebanon, Morocco, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, and the United Kingdom. A committee whose members represent many different local organizations has worked more than 7 months to provide an entertaining, educational, relaxing, and inspiring program to be presented on Thursday, March 3, 2011, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Walb Union on the Indiana - Purdue University Fort Wayne Campus.
